Gladys Lopez of Lockport, NY, passed away on Friday September 2, 2022, at Lockport Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. Daughter to the late Juana (Lugo) and the late Cristino Martinez. Born on October 9, 1932 in Camuy, Puerto Rico, where she grew up with her 8 sister and 2 brothers. She and her late husband Guillermo “Bill” were married on May 10, 1952. Gladys worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport as a Laborer until retirement in 1994.
Predeceased by her husband Guillermo ”Bill” Lopez and her daughter Rosaura “Rose” Lopez Grace (James). Surviving are her son William “Willie” Lopez; five grandchildren, William, Jr. (Christina), David (Meghan Goldsmith), Jason, Angela (Jonny) Wachala and Allan Lopez; nine great grandchildren, Brendan, Sheridan, Brady, Ariana, Nolan, Carson, Harper, Dylan and Elaina.
Friends may call on Tuesday 10am- 12 Noon and 6-8 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery.
