Jane and Pete Wendel were an amazing couple as well as significant persons on their own. i knew them both through organization work as well as friends. Through their consulting work with NCCC, they both brought good advice to the college. Peter also served on the NC CC foundation and as everyone knows they both contributed major leadership to our communities. i unfortunately was not aware for quite a long time that Peter passed and never knew that Jane and I share the same birthdate. God be with their beautiful family.
