Steven J. Saraf Saraf, Steven J. of Lockport, NY died unexpectedly on Thursday June 4, 2009. Born on April 30, 1955 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of Sarafino and Rosemary Szatkowski Saraf. For the last fifteen years, Steven was a long distance truck driver for United Parcel Service. He was a handyman, able to fix just about anything, and a good mechanic as well. He dearly loved his daughters and enjoyed vacationing in Key West, Florida and the time he spent with his many friends. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Summer N. Saraf and Spencer R. Saraf both of Lockport, a son, Steven J. Saraf, Jr., his parents, Sarafino and Rosemary Saraf, two brothers, Sarafino Saraf, Jr. and Thomas Saraf, two sisters, Elaine (David) Meincke and Judy (Garry) Jennings and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc.186 East Ave., Lockport. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Elm & Carlton, Buffalo, NY 14263 or Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, 219 Bryant St., Buffalo, NY 14222.
