Ronald L. Keller, of Lockport, NY, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in Buffalo General Medical Center. Mr. Keller was born in Buffalo, NY on July 22, 1930, son of the late Richard and Mildred (Falkner) Keller. He was a retired computer programmer, who had lived in Lockport most of his life. He and his late wife, Marcia (Kay) were married July 9, 1952, in Buffalo. Mr. Keller with his wife and after her death his daughter Carolyn, raised and exhibited Marnus Collies for over 70 years. His family and many friends in the collie community and elsewhere have enjoyed the bounty of his jellies, several made using his own special recipes. He was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Wayne Keller, and his granddaughter, Kathleen McDowell and Meghan Lenhart. He is survived by his sister, Beverly Garrison; three children, Ronald J. (Debra) Keller, Christine McDowell, all of Ohio and Carolyn (Gary) Lenhart of Maryland; seven grandchildren, Erin MD (Michael) Frank, Rebecca (Jeff) Smith and Kaylin (Brad) Bullard, all of Ohio, Benjamin McDowell MD of Oregon, David McDowell of Ohio, Emily McDowell MD of Michigan and Kelley (Susan) Curtis-Lenhart of Maryland; and eight great-grandchildren. There will be no prior visitation and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Any donations to the Collie Health Foundation are appreciated.
