Obituary of Kenneth L. Wilson

Please share a memory of Kenneth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Wilson, Kenneth Loren Kenneth Loren Wilson’s four year battle with cancer ended on July 10, 2009. He was 63. Born in Buffalo, Ken was a man of few words, who was always busy, especially around his home and garden. In his early years, he was a Navy Seabee, and proudly survived two tours in Viet Nam. After his Navy career, he married the former Sharon Edwards and spent the rest of his years enjoying his home life. A perfectionist by nature, he had a God-given talent for carpentry and woodworking, and was always making improvements to the home, yard and pool area. Walls, doors, and windows were constantly being moved to new and better configurations by his expert hands. Loyalty to his friends was key to him, and a Friend was a friend for life. When not at Home, he could be found helping his friends and neighbors with their projects. He Continued these efforts despite being disabled by his disease and no longer able to work at his paying job. He was predeceased by two siblings, a grandson, and best friend, Alan King. He will be remembered always by his children and their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, his mother-in-law, and a large extended family. At Ken’s request, no formal services will be held. As always, the coffee pot is on, and those who loved him are welcome at any time.
