Obituary of Carol Jane (McCabe) Jenkins

Carol Jane (McCabe) Jenkins of Lockport, NY passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital and Health Center. Born on May 12, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Robert “Jack” and Margery Dobbins McCabe. Carol’s mother and infant brother passed away on August 22, 1953, during childbirth.
Jack remarried and he and Dorothy Seddon McCabe raised Carol. She was a bright light in their marriage as she was their only child. She graduated from Lockport High School in 1970 and was employed at Harrison Radiator for many years until her retirement. She married her loving husband, Ulmont Jenkins, Jr. in 1985 and he passed away in 2007.
Services will be private. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Cold Springs Cemetery.
