Marcella and I were blessed to have Frank and Marcia as neighbors when we moved to Maumelle in 1987. From the first time we met I knew we would be friends. Frank liked to come off as a grumpy old fellow but it only took a minute before you realized that was just a front.
He was a caring, loyal and trustworthy man that always stood by you when you needed a hand. I cannot count how many times he reached out to give someone a hand up...always doing so with no expectation of anything in return...doing it only because it was the right thing to do.
He was devoted to Marcia, his dogs, his family and his friends (nearly always in that order...ha!). He laughed early and often and had a great sense of humor as he watched the world go by. He was a dear friend - part mentor...part older brother. He was kind enough to share many a story of his interesting life and his travels and I for one was always felt I was richer for his sharing. We always had a great time working and laughing together...but mostly laughing...what a wonderful friend! He will be missed greatly!
Rest easy, my friend. You have earned it. You had a great life and our world is better for you being a part of it...
