William D. Patterson Patterson, William D., 90, of Malvern, PA (formerly of Lockport) died on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. He was the husband of the late Dolores (nee Degan) Patterson; Loving father of David (Karen) and Donald (Joanne) Patterson; and loving companion Catherine Pyne of Malvern. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jeff, Amy, Sara and Samantha and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers Gerald (Toni) and Douglas (Janet) Patterson.He was a graduate of Barker High School and the Long Island School of Horticulture.He served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1946. He had a long career at the Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors retiring as a Senior Industrial Engineer in 1978 after 36 years of service. A lifelong Mason, he was a 50 year member of lodges in Lockport and Malvern. He was famous for his wood carvings and stained glass pieces. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid golfer. A private service will be held from Lange Funeral Home,Inc., with interment in Glenwood Cemetery.
