Obituary of Kevin R. Hamluk

Kevin R. Hamluk, of Land O’ Lakes Florida, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024. Born on January 23, 1975 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of the late John G. and Elsbeth A. (Bredefeld) Hamluk. Kevin was a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University. Kevin was a golf pro with the Professional Golfers’ Association of America. He worked at golf and country clubs in Western New York, Long Island, New Jersey, and Northern Virginia. In addition to golf, Kevin enjoyed many professional and college sports teams, including the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and the Penn State Nittany Lions. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family. Kevin is survived by his loving children, Aleksander, Natalya, and Nathaniel Hamluk; siblings Valerie Hamluk, Gregory Hamluk, and Brian Hamluk; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may call on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 5-8pm at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Avenue., Lockport. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00am at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 6965 Chestnut Ridge Road, Lockport. Interment in Wrights Corners Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Newfane Alumni Association (6273 Charlotteville Road, Newfane, NY 14108) to establish a memorial scholarship in Kevin’s name.
