Bob, I am so sorry for your loss. She was your long time partner. You must be devastated as is Judy her sister, confidant and friend. May you find solace in your memories of good times in the past. Richard

She was my Grandmother, I remember every time she came to visit she would always go out with us for lobster roll's. Miss you Grammy Joy.

My mom made me the person I am. She encourage love and appreciation of arts and music of all kinds. Also, learning about the world & different cultures. Her faith was also shared with me. She was particularly fond of Mother Cabrini & Mother Theresa. As a child I loved our day trips to Longwood Gardens & a stop at a candy store on the way home. Money was tight when I was young, but she always made that candy stop. She was ever thoughtful of others and their needs or feelings. I miss her terribly, but know we'll be together again.

Her name says it all. She always brought joy into my life. I have fond memories of her coming to visit us. Each time, right after her arrival, she and I would hit the grocery store. I don't know what Toni was thinking, because Joy and I in the grocery store were a dangerous duo. My sweet tooth and her soft side for me led to a cart full of cream horns and other sinful goodies!
I also remember her love of animals. She took such good care of our puppy, Kristi, when I was at work or Toni and I were on the road. She taught me so much about pet care.
She (and Bob) opened up their home for me, prior to Toni and I getting married, so we could save money for our life together after the wedding. I always admired her frugal side.
Lastly (and I could easily go on forever), I'm very proud that she was my mother-in-law. Whenever I would tell people about her, I always had to clarify that she and I did NOT have the cliché mother/son-in-law tense relationship. She was my friend, even before Toni and I started dating. I will always cherish that.
She will be sorely missed -- until we meet again in heaven.

So sorry to hear of Joy’s passing. Joy was my cousin and one of my memories of Joy was conversations at our dinner table. My mother often talked about Joy spending time with them in the summers and what a pleasure it was to have her around.

My dear cousin Joy... so close and yet so far apart. I cherish to this day, a cook book that I received from Joy as a wedding gift so long ago. Her distinctive and creative flair in her writing of note and signature in the book always intrigued me! I knew there was a 'kindred' spirit that flowed through both of us! Proud to be of Zarfos bloodline and to have shared it with cousin Joy. Deepest sympathy to those who loved her so well.

I am saddened to hear about Mrs. Robinson.
I first met her in 1977, she was a gracious fun loving honest person.
She always had a smile for me and a kind word.
Unfortunately we lost touch for a very long time and this has been my loss.
I offer my prayers and thoughts for her, Mr. Robinson and their family.
God bless her and all that know her, Allen Sten

Although my aunt Joy and I butted heads a few times, and we were always many miles apart, I loved her. I enjoyed visiting her when she lived out east, here in CO and in TX. Walks with her and her huge samoyed, Hannable. I remember her as an animal lover, she had the cutest guinea pigs. I also enjoyed our old fashioned,
hand written communication, snail mail, back and forth. She will be dearly missed. Uncle Bobby, cousin Toni, I'm so sorry for this huge loss. You are in my prayers.
Love, Niece Kristi
