Raymond Finney of Sheffield, England, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, in the care of his son, Paul in Lockport. Born on March 20, 1937, in Sheffield, England, he was the son of the late Alfred and Olive (Ibbotson) Finney. Ray was a paving contractor and owed his own business for many years in England. After retiring, he moved to Cypress where he happily spent 20 years. Ray loved dogs and at one time had a dog obedience school. He enjoyed playing tennis and snooker.
Predeceased by his wife, Mavis Finney, Ray is survived by two sons, Paul (Carol) Finney and John (Rhonda) Finney; 6 grandchildren, Zachery, Leah, Bethany, Daniel. Jonathan and Mariah and two great-grandchildren, Leah and Wren.
