Norah E. Howell Howell, Norah E. (nee McGraw), of Lockport, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday September 29, 2009, following a long illness. Born on September 29, 1928 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of Albert and Marguerite O’Donnell McGraw. She retired in 1992 after working several years at Harrison Radiator. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Terry) Nobles of Newfane and Dianne (Stuart)Fullerton of Florida, her grandson, Charles G. Dietz of Lockport, three sisters, Marjorie Voss of Lockport, Nancy (Joseph) Farrugia of Florida and Reika (Fred) Wroblewski of Gasport, three brothers, Albert J. (Grace) McGraw of Newfane, Robert (Kay) McGraw and Ronald (Pat) McGraw both of Rochester and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Phyllis Nicholas and Alberta Severance. She also leaves behind Briody resident, Bertha Maiorana,with whom she shared a room and considered a very dear friend. Her generosity and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her. Friends may call at Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. on Friday 1:00 – 3:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 331 Alberta Dr. Ste 106, Amherst, NY 14226. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
