Glenn L. Fry Fry, Glenn L. of Lockport, NY, passed away on Saturday October 17, 2009 in Veterans Hospital,Buffalo, NY. Born on May 26, 1937 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of Burt and Laura Lederhouse Fry. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 until 1962 and was a foreman at Frontier Stone, retiring in 1994. Since his retirement, he has owned and operated Stymies Towing. He loved the towing business and enjoyed owning, maintaining and selling John Deere snowmobiles. Glenn was a life member of Rapids Volunteer Fire Company. Husband of the late Diane Meyers, he is survived by his children, Brad (Robin) Meyers of MO, Tim Meyers of Akron, Todd (Tracy) Meyers, Pete Meyers both of Lockport and Theresa (Brian)Grear of Cambria, eight grandchildren, four brothers, Clarence (Marjorie) Fry, Marvin (Marie)Fry, Donald (Myra) Fry and Roy (Maryann) Fry all of Lockport, four sisters, Doris Dietz of Newfane,Lorraine Dysinger, Marge Singleton and Carol Lippert all of Lockport and several nieces and nephews. Glenn was predeceased by his son, Chris Meyers and four brothers, Gordon, Warren, Howard (Pauline) and Norman (Eva) Fry. Friends may call on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave.,Lockport, NY where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
