Zugelder, James H. of Lockport, NY, passed away on Thursday November 26, 2009 at home. Born on June 18, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Howard and Bertha Prestel Zugelder. Mr. Zugelder received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of Dayton and worked for General Motors for 42 years, retiring in 1999 from Harrison Radiator as a Training Director. He was active in All Saints Parish on the Parish Council and as a Eucharistic Minister and loved to play golf. He is survived by his wife, Myrna McClurg Zugelder, whom he married September 7, 1963, four children, Lisa (Warren) Lederer of N.J., Ronald (Nicole) Zugelder of Lockport, Daniel (Lori) Zugelder of N.J. and Thomas (Kim) Zugelder of Pendleton, nine grandchildren, Grace, Kathryn, Magdalene and Cecilia Lederer, and Cooper James, Cole, Lindsay, Delaney and Shannon Zugelder, one brother, Thomas (late Sharon)Zugelder of Kansas, one sister, Marilyn (Howard) Reams of Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Zugelder. Friends may call on Sunday 4:00–7:00 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc. 186 East Ave.,Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10:00 AM from All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport, NY. Burial will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc., 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
