Vogt, Gerald of Lockport, NY passed away on Wednesday February 17, 2010 in Newfane Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Born on October 14, 1921, he was the son of John J. and Mary Kane Vogt. Mr. Vogt served in the Army Air Force during WWII and was an owner of Vogt Construction Co. with his brother. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Past President and member of Cambria Volunteer Fire Co. and enjoyed fishing. Predeceased in 1999 by his wife, Mary B. Vogt, he is the father of Peter (Faye), Thomas J. (Susan), Joseph J., Mary Lou (Steven) Ribbeck, Cynthia (Christopher) Busch, Nancy (Charles) Sybil, Marilyn (Albert) Verheyn, Margaret (John) Mulcahy, and the late Donald, grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother of Ethel Farrah, Bernice (Walter) Demler, the late John J. Jr., the late Bernard and the late Charles and uncle of several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered today, Friday February 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM from Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Rd., Ransomville, NY.
