Kent I am so sorry to hear bout your father but know that I am going thru the same. Ed was diagnosed with lung cancer last Sept and it spread to his brain. he fought a valiant fight but had to let go and leave us to go on without him. I again send you my deepest sympathy. Dick was a great guy. Did all the plumbing in our home and apts. So friendly. Always willing to come. Know two great daughters, Vicki and Candy. My sympathies to all the family. I have many fun memories of Dick through our association with TYC especially where I can still "see" the infamous "Wa R We" the old Richardson sedan still bobbing in the water. Dick was a fixture at that picnic table that sat on land near his dock. Beer in hand. I also remember Dick through his association with dad's plumbing shop - and he apprenticed with dad to learn the plumbing trade at Carpenter and Richards. How great it was that two old buddies could work together in this way. Im sure dad knew that it was only a matter of time before he was off on his own. Dick was his own man and full of knowledge about many things. I am sure dad will welcome him heartily to heaven! Maybe they will go for a boatride together and share a beer! or perhaps Heather will take them for a sail. We are so sorry to hear of your loss....I knew all of the MacFarlane, Bentley & Budde kids when I worked at Sr. High in Newfane....Our thoughts & prayers are with you all at this very sad time.
