Please give my sincere condolences to Shirley Jenkins' family.
Shirley, Marcia Daggett and I were best friends during our time in elementary school, junior high and high school. We lived in the same neighborhood and played together, walked to school and home again together, and spent much time together. We lost touch in our later years, but I never forgot about her (and never will) and thought of her often. I have told Marcia (who lives in Florida) of Shirley's passing.
