Obituary of Shirley E. Jenkins

Shirley E. Jenkins Jenkins, Shirley E. of Norman, Oklahoma passed on to be with her Creator Tuesday afternoon February 10th, 2015 in Norman OK. Born on October 7, 1928 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of Roger and Kathryn Slattery. Shirley was a retired Elementary School Teacher who was highly regarded by her students and co-workers. She taught at Winding Creek Elementary School in Moore, OK. Predeceased by her husband, John M. Jenkins, Shirley is survived by her children, Ginny Jenkins of Norman, OK and Creighton Jenkins and his wife Rita Jenkins of San Francisco, CA; their daughters, Brontё and Colette Jenkins; her brother, Roger Slattery and niece, Gwen Slattery. Her positive outlook and giving spirit will be greatly missed. Private funeral services will be held by the family with Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport, NY.
