Obituary of Melanie Jordan Aronow

Melanie Jordan Aronow, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic accident on Saturday August 20, 2016. Born on May 7, 1998 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of Diane E. Misch and Glenn Aronow. Melanie graduated with an Advanced Regents Diploma from Lockport High School and was about to begin her freshman year at SUNY at Fredonia. She always fought for the underdog and was recognized for her efforts with the Unsung Hero Award. Melanie loved her dogs, Boomer and Sophie, music, going to the beach, her many friends and always had a welcoming smile. In addition to her to her parents, Melanie is survived by two sisters, Alyssa Aronow and Nicole Aronow; grandparents, Virginia and John Misch and several aunts, uncle and cousins. She is predeceased by grandparents, Anne and Gilbert Aronow. Friends may call on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport. Funeral services will be private. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined, memorials may be made to Niagara County SPCA. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
