My three boys and I always enjoyed visiting Roy, Thelma, Bryan and Grandpa Rankie at the store over the years! Uncle Roy's face always lit up when we walked in the door! Family gatherings for summer or Christmas were always a blast and filled with lots of laughter! You will be missed, but not forgotten!

Sorry to hear the passing of cousin Roy. As well as being a son, a father and a business owner, Roy was a direct descendant of Barthel Deissinger who immigrated here from Germany in 1748. Roy was the grandson of Mildred G. (Dysinger) Sand, and the great great great great great great grandson of Barthel. With roughly 3,000 cousins total in the Disinger family tree, many are still living in Niagara County.

My prayers and love are with you all!! Dad always made me feel like a part of the family as did Mom Rankie. Many of my childhood memories were of Sandy and I visiting the store. As well as baking in kitchen of their home on Ernest Rd. God bless you all and keep you strong. All my love Catherine Glaser (Edmister)
