What a tragic loss for anyone who knew Dan. When Margie passed, we became very close, sharing stories and pain to comfort one another. Dan was always hopeful about the future and and his zest for life was a clear example of how one must go on- despite his own pain and challenges. I’ve always admired Dan’s strength and courage- and always will. Godspeed, dear Dan.

The officers and members of Bear Head Camp at Crosby, PA were all very saddened with the news of Dan's passing. He was a true friend of Bear Head camp and we were very glad he was able to attend one of our annual meetings. Our sincere condolences go out to his family. He was a friend and will be missed. Dan was the pure definition of a man. Loyal, loving, selfless, witty, humble, hard working. He brought light back into Dusty’s home and treated her children as his own. Our favorite thing to tell him was “Every woman needs a Dan”! He was truly a gem. A one of a kind. Someone who would do anything and everything for anyone. He will be missed more than words could ever express.
