Faes, Daniel J. of Clarence Center, NY, September 13, 2023, age 63, passed away after a courageous 4-year battle with cancer. He is survived by fiancée’, E. Dusty Smith and her children, TJ, McKenzie and Austin; brothers, Steven (Bonnie) Faes, Valen (Ron) Faes, Lee (Birdy) Faes; sister, Dolores “Dede” (Greg) Latimer, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence “Cino” and Elizabeth “Betty” (nee Ross) Faes and late wife, Marjorie L. (nee West). Dan graduated from Smethport Area High School and Alfred State College with an AAS in Mechanical Engineering. He had a long career in the HVAC Building Automation Industry, Dan was a partner in U & S Services Inc., Tonawanda, NY for over 20 years and then continued with the company as an account executive. He loved to travel, golf and snowmobile with friends. There will be no prior visitation. A Celebration of Dan’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227 or Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, 665 Elm St., Buffalo, NY 14203.
