I have fond memories as a child of family visits to North Tonawanda and Lockport and staying with Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Ed. They always made us feel welcome, and we had great fun at their house. From the pony, the coon dogs, and the racoon out back, to the expansive garden it seemed like an adventure. As I got older, I remember the motorcycle trips of Ed/Dorothy and Uncle Dave and Aunt Cheryl to visit us (the Crites family) in New Hampshire. It was always a pleasure to be in their company and spend time with cousins Diane, Deb, and Dawn. I am honored to have had Ed as my uncle and to have known him. Rest in peace Uncle Ed.
Ed was a good and kind man, a Christian and a wonderful family member. He was our brother-in-law and we love him dearly. We have fond memories of motorcycle vacations with him and Dorothy. Ed was always the planner and organizer, and he led the journeys. They raised three lovely daughters, and made the world a better place by their kindnesses and care. We will miss Ed, but we know he is in Heaven.
