Edward L. Getty of Pendleton, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Niagara Hospice House. Born on January 30, 1938 in Indiana, PA, he was the son of the late George and MaryEllen (nee Powell) Getty. Ed retired from VanChlor Chemical as a Supervisor and Plant Manager. He enjoyed gardening, crafting birdhouses and travelling by motorcycle to the New England States.

Ed is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Hefferon Getty; daughters, Diane (Daniel Heim) Snickles, Debra (Rob) Prelewicz and Dawn (Tim) Winkelmann; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (late Kay) Getty; sister, Barbara Jean (Mike) Walter and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday October 16,2023 2:00 - 6:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY where funeral services will immediately follow at 6:00 PM. Private interment in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pendleton Center United Methodist Church or Niagara Hospice.
